A downloadable game

Evaluation

A short PS1-inspired third person adventure game about growing up and finding your place in reality.
The game focuses on rewarding exploration, features NPCs and platforming elements, all supported by the narrative and a strong eerie atmosphere.

Evaluation is my first game project. It was a wild ride, way longer to finalize than I expected, but I learnt so much along the way, and hope to do more in the future!

I crafted as much as I could do from scratch, however the following external assets were of invaluable help on pulling off the game as I imagined it:

PSX Effects - Triple Axis
Character Movement Fundamentals - Jan OTT
Basic Motions - Kevin Iglesias

I don't understand your game. The directions at the end say to go up the long elevator and walk straight until you see that "light that feels off". I did so and I found the long path into the darkness then found a orb and talked to a guy about how high the cliff was. The directions say that you need to keep walking even though you just fall, die, and reset? Is there something I am not doing right? I want to play more of this game but the directions are just so unclear and don't really correspond to the game all that well.

Hey! Without saying too much to avoid spoilers, you need to find the broken pieces of concrete and leap there.
I had friends try the game that were also confused by this part, so I will improve the instructions and release a new version when I can.
Thanks for the feedback!

nice game visual puzzle and this first part.
